SASKATOON – An alleged drunk driver involved in a crash that killed a family of four will remain in custody until her next court appearance. Catherine McKay, 49, made a brief court appearance Tuesday in Saskatoon provincial court.

McKay faces 12 charges, including four counts of impaired driving causing death, after the collision on Highway 11 by Wanuskewin Road in early January.

Jordan and Chanda Van de Vorst were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their children, Migure and Kamryn, died later in hospital.

A bail hearing for McKay has been postponed until April 25.
