We may have a new candidate for the Premier League's goal of the season.

Tottenham was locked in a tie Saturday with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park when midfielder Dele Alli put the Spurs in front with what only can be described as a sensational goal.

In the 84th minute, Alli controlled a pass in midair, calmly flicked the ball over a charging Eagles defender and uncorked a rocket that sailed into the lower left corner of the net.

Alli's fancy footwork deserves another look.

The 19-year-old's incredible strike, which helped lift Tottenham to a 3-1 win, even drew praise from former Tottenham legend Gareth Bale.

Alli admitted after the match even he was surprised by his incredible feat of athleticism.
