It didn't take long for Chip Kelly to find another job in the NFL.

Kelly was hired by the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday, the team announced. Kelly's hiring comes roughly two weeks after he was fired by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles let go of Kelly after three seasons. Philly went 10-6 in Kelly's first two seasons before struggling mightily during the 2015 season. The Eagles went 6-9 under Kelly in 2015, and he was fired before the team's final game. Despite the relative regular season success in Kelly's first two seasons, the Eagles lost their one and only playoff game under the former University of Oregon head coach.
