California lottery is reporting that the winning Powerball ticket was, in fact, sold which means someone out there just joined the $1.5 billion club.

Of course, they could be wrong, there could be multiple winners, and the one confirmed winner still has to step forward and claim the prize. But if they do, just how rich would they be?

Here's a handful of notable NFL owners said person would be immediately wealthier than, according to Forbes' list of NFL owners ranked by their net worth.

-- Jim Irsay, Indianapolis Colts, $1.5 billion
-- William C. Ford, Sr., Detroit Lions, $1.25 billion
-- Kenneth Adams, Tennessee Titans, $1.2 billion
-- Tom Benson, New Orleans Saints, $1.2 billion
-- Denise DeBartolo York, San Francisco 49ers, $1.1 billion
-- Daniel Snyder, Washington Redskins, $1 billion
-- Alex Spanos, San Diego Chargers, $1 billion

Pretty impressive, huh?

Of course, it still pales in comparison to some of the bigger names on the list, like Seattle Seahawks owner Paul Allen ($15 billion), the newly relocated Los Angeles Rams' owner Stan Kroenke and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones ($2.7 billion).

But hey, we'd settle for the $1.5 billion any day.
