The TD Bank Mini 1-on-1 tournament continued with an exciting matchup between the Maine Gladiators and Newport Whalers.

Neither squad scored during regulation, so the game went to a shootout, which the Newport squirts won in the fifth round. The Whalers advanced to the quarterfinals, where they face the winner of Hanover (N.H.) and Lyndon (V.T.).
