Massachusetts native Mike Condon wasn't always destined for a path in the NHL.

Despite overcoming the odds throughout his high school and collegiate careers, heading to the NHL looked like a longshot for the Montreal Canadiens goaltender.

Now, with starter and reigning MVP Carey Price out with an injury, Condon has gotten a chance to start consistently during his first NHL season.
