Increasing scoring chances in the NHL is a big topic of discussion right now. But while many seem to agree there's a problem, finding a solution is easier said than done.
One recommendation that is picking up steam is making the nets bigger, although Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien isn't a fan. So what are some other possible ideas?
"To me, it's goaltender equipment when it is all said and done," NESN's Billy Jaffe said on "The Instigators" on Thursday. "There are a lot of different things you could do, no question about it. Goaltender equipment ... it's too big."
