Losing the first two games of the American League Division Series would not have been good for the Kansas City Royals. Luckily for them, they came back to beat the Houston Astros 5-4 in Game 2 on Friday.
Catcher Salvador Perez got the rally started in the bottom of the second inning. Houston was already up 3-0 thanks to a Colby Rasmus RBI double and a George Springer two-run single, but Perez shortened Kansas City's deficit with a solo home run.
The Royals tied the game 4-4 in the sixth inning with an Eric Hosmer RBI single and a bases loaded walk to Perez.
Ben Zobrist capped the comeback with an RBI single in the seventh inning.
With the win, the Royals tied the series heading into Game 3 in Houston on Sunday.
