Every year fans gear up for the NFL draft with hopes their favorite team will select a superstar to be.

Teams that posses the No. 1 pick anticipate they will select a franchise player. Players like Peyton Manning and Troy Aikman were No. 1 picks who changed their respected franchises. Super Bowl wins and MVP seasons are expected of those players.

Everything doesn't always go as smooth as some teams hope, though. The term "bust" is tossed around following every draft.

No. 1 selections and other high draft choices don't want the label of being a bust, but sometimes it's unavoidable.
