While you were watching football, Rich Hill was making history.
In his first start since 2009, Boston Red Sox pitcher Rich Hill shutdown the Tampa Bay Rays, tossing seven innings of one-hit baseball and striking out 10 batters in the process.
Hill also appeared in 40 games as a reliever for the Red Sox from 2010-2012, but Sunday marked a return for the Milton, Mass., native as well as his first start in a Red Sox uniform.
He spoke about the performance with reporters following Boston's 2-0, 13-inning win, as seen on NESN's "Red Sox Final." Check it all out in the video above.
