We'd say the hoopla over contrived controversies involving the New England Patriots has gone over the top, if it hadn't already gone way over the top long ago.

The latest "-gate" is Radio-Gate, or Headset-Gate or Whole-Lot-of-Nothing-Gate, whichever you prefer. This time, it's Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers complaining about foulplay with radio headsets -- over which the Patriots themselves have almost no control.
