LeGarrette Blount is officially back.

The Patriots running back was suspended for New England's 28-21 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. That suspension is now over, though, as the Patriots have activated Blount, which was first reported by ESPN's Field Yates and confirmed by NESN.com's Doug Kyed.

In order to make room for Blount on the 53-man roster, the Patriots cut linebacker Eric Martin on Saturday.
