Bill Simmons makes a lot of money, but he might be gambling a lot of it, too.
The ex-ESPN employee made headlines earlier this week when his Twitter rant defending the New England Patriots against his former employer's Spygate report went viral.
But his confidence in the Pats seemingly extends a bit further than the Twittersphere.
For those too shocked to count the zeros, that's $110 million Simmons supposedly is betting on a Patriots-Green Bay Packers two-team teaser.
New England, of course, takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night in the season opener, while Green Bay opens with the Chicago Bears. They're the two heaviest favorites across the board for Week 1 betting lines.
Of course, he hasn't actually hit the "place bet" button, and this is obviously a joke to underscore his feelings towards the Pats (and, apparently, Green Bay). Still, it's an entertaining joke nonetheless.
