Minister of Transportation Steven Del Duca will be joined by Minister of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure Brad Duguid to make a highway announcement on Thursday.

Government sources tell Global News the announcement will be a progress report on the Highway 427 extension project.

More information is also expected on this summer's High Occupancy Toll lane pilot project along sections of the QEW.

A full unveiling of that plan is expected later in the spring.
