Metro Vancouver is bracing for some wet weather today as a rainfall warning has been issued for the region.
Environment Canada says heavy rain at times is suspected.
About 50 mm of rain can be expected to fall over the North Shore and Howe Sound by Wednesday morning as a frontal system and low centre move across the south coast today and tonight.
Some strong winds are also expected.
Residents are being warned that these heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on the roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
We will be monitoring the weather closely today. You can also track the system using our SkyTracker weather app.
