RCMP say an impaired driver who intentionally drove his vehicle into two other vehicles on Sunday has been arrested.

According to police, shortly before 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening, a man was driving dangerously through the community and struck two other vehicles with his own.

The car and SUV were damaged, but no one was injured in the crash.

Police later determined the driver struck the other vehicles intentionally. Officers also seized marijuana and drug paraphernalia from his vehicle.

22-year-old Timothy Jordan Stewart of Shelburne County has been charged with several charges including impaired driving, possession of marijuana and assault with a weapon.

He is expected in Shelburne Provincial Court on April 27.
