Darnell Nurse is not a dude you wanna mess with. Just ask Roman Polak.
Nurse took exception to hit against an Edmonton Oilers teammate late in Tuesday night's game with the San Jose Sharks. The big defenseman quickly sought out Polak, essentially jumping the recently acquired blue liner.
Polak didn't even get a chance to get his gloves off before Nurse started pounding him with right hands. In the end, Polak was left bloodied in front of the San Jose bench, as the Sharks were none too pleased with the mugging.
Here's what Polak looked like when it was all said and done.

The referees somehow decided both players would receive fighting majors, and Nurse was given an extra minor penalty for roughing.
