TORONTO - Police say they've arrested a person of interest in a murder investigation after scooping him off a GO transit bus in Toronto.
Durham Regional Police say they requested help to arrest the man, who was on a bus headed for Union Station in the heart of the downtown core.
The station serves as a hub for subway and rail transport within the city limits and beyond.
They say provincial police and Hamilton police arrested the 53-year-old man, who was wanted on a warrant for an assault and has also been flagged as a person of interest in an unnamed homicide.
Police did not release the man's name and say more details will be released as they become available.
