Spring training is a time for new beginnings, and that apparently includes the once-frosty relationship between David Price and David Ortiz.

Many wondered how the new Red Sox ace and the longtime Boston designated hitter would get along after the former was signed to a seven-year contract in the offseason. Price and Ortiz have some unfriendly history from the pitcher's time in Tampa Bay, and the natural question was about whether they'd be able to get along as teammates.

Both insisted it wouldn't be an issue, and their first interraction after Ortiz reported to spring training Monday certainly reinforces that theory.

The Red Sox tweeted this photo of the two sharing a big embrace in their first meeting of the spring.
