CALGARY- Calgary police are investigating after shots were fired into a house in the northeast community of Martindale early Saturday morning.
Police received several calls around 3:00 a.m. from neighbours who heard the shots being fired.
Imreet Deol lives in the home with his older brother and parents. He and his brother were not home at the time but he says his parents were. No one was injured.
"That's my older brother's bedroom," Deol said, referring to the two bullet holes near the upstairs bedroom window.
Ammar Nasiem lives across the street from the house and just moved into the neighbourhood.
"It's scary. Very scary because I thought this was a peaceful neighborhood," said Nasiem.
Officers believe it was a targeted shooting, but it's not clear if it was gang related. Deol believes otherwise.
"It could be random, I really don't know right now."
Investigators haven't identified any possible suspects.
