The NFL is back in Los Angeles.

The St. Louis Rams officially are moving to Los Angeles for the 2016 season. After an earlier vote with a different combination of teams and cities didn't pass, a new proposal was made, leading to the vote that brings the NFL into one of the largest markets in the U.S.

NFL.com already has changed the Rams' team name to reflect their new location.

L.A.'s new mega-stadium will be in Inglewood, Calif., and is not projected to open until 2019, according to the Los Angeles Times. While it's unclear where the team will play its home games next season, several college stadiums -- like the Rose Bowl -- could serve as temporary homes.
