Boston Red Sox general manager Mike Hazen joined NESN's Tom Caron at Red Sox Winter Weekend on Saturday to discuss the team's newest acquisitions and much more.

Hazen also talked about the Red Sox not wanting to break up their young core at the Major League level to make improvements to the roster. The Sox were able to acquire starting pitcher David Price, relievers Craig Kimbrel and Carson Smith, and fourth outfielder Chris Young in the offseason without giving up any pieces from that core.
