But Brady was Super Bowl MVP just a few weeks later after the Patriots vanquished the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX. Since then, Brady's been playing out of his mind and is in the running for NFL MVP with New England sitting atop the AFC at 12-2 going into Week 16.
