The Green Bay Packers were seconds away from losing yet again, but a questionable penalty and a Hail Mary by Aaron Rodgers changed that.
The Packers got the ball back down 23-21 with 23 seconds remaining against the Detroit Lions, but they were 79 yards away from the end zone. A field goal could have won it, but Green Bay never got in range.
That meant Green Bay had to try the old hook-and-lateral, which unless you are the University of Miami, rarely works. It appeared like that would be the case for the Packers, but a questionable facemask penalty gave Green Bay one last play with no time remaining.
Rodgers took that second chance and completed a 61-yard Hail Mary to Richard Rodgers.
Unbelievable.
The Packers won 27-23.
