Brazil's national soccer team should be starting to feel at home at Gillette Stadium.
The "Selecao," as Brazil is known, will return to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., next summer during the 2016 Copa America, Gillette Stadium and The New England Revolution announced Thursday in a statement. Brazil will play a yet-to-be-determined opponent on June 12 in a Group B game.
Gillette Stadium also will host a group-stage game on June 10 and a quarterfinal on June 18.
Brazil's most recent appearance at Gillette Stadium came on Sept. 8., when Neymar and Co. defeated the United States 4-0 in an exhibition.
The June 12 Copa America game will be Brazil's fifth at Gillette Stadium since 2007.
The Copa America "Centenario," a special-edition tournament, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the first Copa America. Mexico and the United States, as well as four yet-to-be determined teams from CONCACAF, will compete against Brazil and nine other South American nations.
The showcase tournament will take place in 10 cities across the United States, starting on June 3. MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., will stage the final on June 26.
