Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel have gotten most of the attention among NHL rookies this season, but Dylan Larkin isn't far behind.

The Detroit Red Wings center already has 11 points this season, which is fifth-best among rookies.

"This kid is really, really good," NESN's Billy Jaffe said on "Bruins Face-Off Live" before Boston faced Detroit on Saturday. "And he basically forced their hand with a great preseason -- actually a world championship last year -- showing he was ready to make it in the NHL."
