Both the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs failed to score in the first period Saturday night, and their goaltenders were big reasons why.

Maple Leafs goalie James Reimer made 14 saves, including one when he displayed perfect positioning by not slouching his shoulders. Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask also put on a clinic in how to move backward with limited movement.
