FOXBORO, Mass. -- If Tom Brady was bothered by comments Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy made about his wife, he wouldn't show it Wednesday morning.
Hardy made Sunday's matchup between the Cowboys and New England Patriots personal when he bizarrely mentioned Brady's wife, Gisele Bundchen, when asked about the quarterback.
"I love seeing Tom Brady, he's cool as crap," Hardy said Tuesday. "Have you seen his wife (supermodel Gisele Bundchen)? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game, all her friends come to the game. One of my favorite games of the year, guys."
Brady was asked if he was "ticked off" upon seeing Hardy's comments.
"No, I'm just getting ready to play, man," Brady said. "I've got to focus on my job. He's a great player. We've got to … It takes a lot of different things to handle a guy like that. But he's been a great player since he's been in the league, so we're going to have to prepare for him and be ready for all different types of moves that he's got. But they've got a good D-line anyway."
"They count on getting pressure from their front four getting to the quarterback, so I don't really care about his personal feelings.
Hardy is returning from a four-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the league related to a domestic violence incident. He played just one game for the Carolina Panthers last season but was named to the Pro Bowl and All-Pro team in 2013, when he recorded 15 sacks.
