"Thursday Night Football" has been played and now fantasy football owners have a little more clarity on what their roster needs are for Week 7 on Sunday.
The waiver wire is the best place to make changes to your roster because trades aren't easy to finalize at this stage of the week.
Here are some good last-minute pickups for you to consider on your league's waiver wire.
Quarterback: Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars
Bortles isn't the best real-life quarterback, but for fantasy football purposes he's quite useful. The former third overall draft pick has back-to-back 300-yard passing games with seven touchdowns and four interceptions in that span.
He's playing a Buffalo Bills defense in Week 7 that ranks 24th against the pass with 13 passing touchdowns allowed (T-2nd most in the league).
Running Back: Theo Riddick, Detroit Lions
Riddick is a threat in the passing and rushing attacks for Detroit. Week 6 was the first game in which he was given a meaningful role in the running game, with 28 yards on seven carries. He also caught three passes for 50 yards.
Riddick is averaging a little more than five receptions and 40 receiving yards per game, so he's a decent flex start in deep leagues, particularly ones that use PPR scoring.
Wide Receiver: Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings
Diggs has played in the Vikings' last two games and tallied at least six receptions and 87 yards each time. He had a breakout Week 7 performance with seven receptions for 129 yards on nine targets against the Kansas City Chiefs. He plays the Lions' 23rd-ranked pass defense in Week 7 and definitely is worth a flex start.
Tight End: Coby Fleener, Indianapolis
By this stage of the week, the top waiver wire tight ends such as Benjamin Watson most likely already have been added in your league, so Fleener is among the next-best choices. He only should be added if you need a short-term fix at this position, though. He's not racking up many yards and has one touchdown on the season, but he's averaging seven targets over the last four games.
Fleener also has a pretty good matchup against a New Orleans Saints defense that ranks 25th against the pass and doesn't have a linebacker that excels in coverage against tight ends.
