Players can be superstitious. Whether it includes foods, drinks or praying, many players have some type of routine they go through.

Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris doesn't partake take in your average routine. Before games at FedEx Field, Morris arrives early and spends a significant amount of time with the security and guest services staff, whom he has gotten to know well in his time with the 'Skins.

According to Dan Steinberg of "The Washington Post," Morris talks to the stadium employees about their importance to the franchise, then joins them for a pregame prayer out on the field.

"I mean, I'm a person just like anybody else," Morris told Steinberg." You're a person; I'm a person; but just because I play a game, they elevate me.

"I'm a normal, everyday person. I just happen to play football in the NFL. ... I ain't no better than the next person. That's just the way I look at life, man. In God's eyes, we're all equal, so why should I act like I'm better than anybody else when I'm not?"

Morris has apparently been taking part in this pregame activity since his rookie season in 2012. As he says, "we are all equal."
