It's been an up-and-down season for the Red Sox.

Boston started off the year struggling on the mound and at the plate, but that all changed in August thanks to its younger players.

"A lot has happened and I think we are ready to look forward to 2016," incoming team president Sam Kennedy said on "Red Sox Gameday Live. "There's so many exciting things happening on the field with these young players and playing hard each and every night, not giving up until the end. ... So that's a good sign as our fans start to think about next year."
