Eduardo Rodriguez has had quite an impressive rookie season.

The Boston Red Sox left-hander has a 9-5 record and a 4.05 ERA in 104 1/3 innings of work. But with the season winding down, Boston is exploring whether or not to limit Rodriguez's pitch count going forward.

"We may limit him," interim manager Torey Lovullo said on "Red Sox Gameday Live" before Boston took on the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards on Monday. "We're stretching things out between his outings for a reason."
