The 2015 season is still ongoing, but there's already plenty of excitement surrounding next year's Boston Red Sox.

The Red Sox playing well of late thanks to a lethal lineup and strong pitching. Fans are excited to see what new president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski does in the offseason, and if the young players continue to contribute at such high levels. And now the anticipation even is higher after the Red Sox released their 2016 regular-season schedule Tuesday.

"Fans have been pretty excited about next year all of a sudden," NESN's Tom Caron said on "Red Sox Gameday Live" before Boston took on the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday. "You've got all these young guys playing well. I haven't seen a last place team have so much excitement around it in September."
