When a foul ball lands in the seats at a baseball game, it's not uncommon to see people get in a tug-of-war to take home the souvenir.
But if the ball happens to land in the glove of an actual player, you should probably leave it alone. Unfortunately, one fan at Dodger Stadium didn't get that memo.
During the fifth inning of Los Angeles' game against the Colorado Rockies on Monday, first baseman Adrian Gonzalez tracked a ball into the stands and caught it for the first out. However, a fan who also was tracking the ball didn't want to let go.
While the look on the fan's face suggests that it might have been his automatic reaction to fight for the ball, it's still not a good look for an adult to try to rip off a player's glove over a baseball.
The fan later was ejected, and people cheered as he was escorted out. Not the best way to leave a baseball game.
