The Boston Red Sox have yet to win 70 games this season, but they still might have something to celebrate by the end of the 2015 season.

Designated hitter David Ortiz is approaching the 500 club after hitting his 496th career home run Saturday against the Philadelphia Phillies. Big Papi has 27 more games to hit four home runs, and needless to say, Ortiz is happy that he has a chance to reach the milestone.

"Well, everyone's pretty much excited about it," Ortiz said ahead of Sunday's contest against the Phillies. "I'm excited myself. It's a milestone that's pretty much hard to get. Everybody's been making a really big deal about it, and it's because of the history of the game."
