REGINA - A Regina establishment in the 600 block of Victoria Ave East was evacuated early Friday morning following a joint investigation between the Regina Police VICE unit, Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, and Regina Fire Department.

The fire marshal ordered the building closed due to a non-functioning fire alarm system.

The joint effort also found other violations, including under age patrons with no ID on the premises and over capacity.

The minors were charged under the Alcohol Gaming Regulations Act.

The establishment will also be facing charges under the Alcohol Regulations Act.

The investigation is ongoing.
