TORONTO – Those who didn't get away somewhere hot for March Break can still enjoy some near summer-like temperatures this weekend, Environment Canada predicts.

The weather agency is predicting a high of 18 C on Saturday, breaking the past record for March 12, which was 16.3 C back in 2006.

Forecasters are predicting similar conditions throughout this part of the province, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-teens expected from London to Peterborough and into the Kawarthas.
