A pair of the Premier League's most intense rivals will meet in a Round of 16 first leg matchup when Liverpool hosts Manchester United at Anfield in the 2015-16 UEFA Europa League on Thursday.

The Red Devils still have a decent chance of securing a top four spot in the league standings and qualifying for the 2016-17 Champions League as a result, but for Liverpool, its best chance of playing in that competition next season is winning this campaign's Europa League. That would automatically qualify the Reds.
