WINNIPEG -- Move over winter, spring is on its way in.

As the snow and ice continue to thaw, the warm temperatures in store for the next few days will sure get Winnipeggers outside enjoying the weather.

Daytime highs on Thursday in southern Manitoba will range from roughly 3 C to 13 C.

Winnipeg will be one of the cooler areas but over the next few days temperatures are expected to soar.

Friday through Monday Winnipeg and southern Manitoba will be flirting with record highs. While the northern half of the province deals with rain, freezing rain and 5-10cm of snow, the southern portion will have strong winds from the South, helping things warm up.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Winnipeg range from -12 C up to -2 C.
