WINNIPEG -- The search for a Kenora missing teenager has expanded to Winnipeg.

Delaine Copenace, 16, was reported missing on Feb. 28. She was last seen at her home before leaving for downtown Kenora with a group of friends.

On Thursday evening, the group Bear Clan Patrol started looking for her in Winnipeg's North End area.

Police describe Copenace as five feet ten inches (155 cm) tall, a larger build. with long black hair and brown eyes.

A Facebook page called 'Help us find Delaine Copenace'  has been created to help collect tips and information.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone who knows of her whereabouts to call Kenora OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
