It looks as though Adam Vinatieri might never retire from the NFL.

The Indianapolis Colts reportedly are working on a new contract to lock up the 43-year-old kicker, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday. There are no reported terms of a deal, but Rapoport says the Colts are enthusiastic about re-signing him.

Vinatieri would be entering his 21st season in the league and his 11th season in Indy should he work something out with the Colts. Vinatieri should be a shoo-in for the Pro Football Hall of Fame once he does retire, as he's a three-time Pro Bowler, a three-time All-Pro, has the third-most points scored of all time and has four Super Bowl rings, three with the New England Patriots and one with the Colts.
