WINNIPEG -- The man accused of murdering 17-year-old Cooper Nemeth is expected to make an appearance in court on Friday.
Nicholas Bell-Wright, 22, is charged with second-degree murder in Nemeth's homicide, whose body was discovered in a bin outside a Winnipeg home on Feb. 20. Nemeth had been reported missing for a week and was last seen leaving a house party in the Valley Gardens area.

Bell-Wright's lawyer and prosecutors have agreed to hold a hearing Friday where he could possibly apply for bail. He made his first court appearance on Feb. 22 via video from behind bars at the Remand Centre.
According to court documents, Bell-Wright was on probation at the time of the murder.

Police believe Nemeth's homicide was drug related.
