Doug Flutie's about to hit the national stage, but not in the way you might imagine.

Season 22 of "Dancing With The Stars" is approaching, and the Boston College football legend will be part of the cast, according to a Tuesday announcement on "Good Morning America."

Flutie will be one of three football players on this year's cast. In addition to Flutie, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller will strut their stuff on the celebrity dance competition.

Rounding out the sports ties this season will be MMA fighter Paige VanZant. The 21-year-old might have something of an advantage, too, as she has a dance history in addition to beating up people from time to time.

Season 22 debuts March 21 on ABC.
