The Toronto Taxi Alliance will present submissions Friday to the city's Municipal Licensing and Standards' Ground Transportation Review in their ongoing battle against ride-sharing service Uber.
The group says the submissions come after taxi industry members held "stakeholder" meetings this month.
The Alliance says it wants Uber to be regulated as taxi companies, to have one set of regulations which applies to ground transportation in Toronto and to ban anyone with a vehicle from providing ground transportation services without a license.

Taxi drivers argue that Uber is unfairly taking away their business because it isn't subject to the same fees and regulations that govern the taxi industry.
A Forum Research poll released this week shows 42 per cent now favour Uber over Toronto's cabbies in the dispute, a jump of 4 per cent since the end of December.
The poll also found 30 per cent of those surveyed have used the Uber ride sharing app.

Toronto lost an attempt to ban the UberX service last year after a Superior Court judge ruled the transportation startup was operating within city bylaws.
City staff have since been working toward new regulations for Uber and the taxi industry.
The Ground Transportation Review report is expected to be released on April 14.
