A slow moving frontal system will keep the showers lingering in the forecast this morning and midday.

We will see a brief break from the precipitation by this evening, but another wave of valley rain will move in tomorrow afternoon and evening.

A sneak peak into the weekend calls for sunny breaks on Saturday and a part of Sunday under an upper ridge.
