Police have released security images of a man wanted in connection to two bank robberies in Toronto last week.

It is alleged the suspect walked into a bank on Feb. 11 at 6:45 p.m. in the Sheppard Avenue East and Midland Avenue area and handed over a note to the teller indicating he had a gun.

Police say the man was given a quantity of cash and walked out.

The same man also entered a different bank on Feb. 19 at 6:45 p.m. in the Yonge Street and Yonge Boulevard area and also handed over a note.

Police say the suspect started to pull a gun out of a satchel and was given a quantity of cash.

The man is described as white, in his 40s, between, 5'7" to 5'9" tall, thin build, clean-shaven and wore prescription glasses.
