Fear not, New England Patriots fans. Tom Brady won't be leaving anytime soon.

The Patriots and their quarterback agreed on a two-year contract extension, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Dianna Russini. Brady will be locked up through 2019, when he'll be 42 years old, on the new deal. That would be Brady's 20th season in the NFL.

Brady previously was signed through 2017. He had a salary cap hit of $15 million due for 2016 and $16 million due for 2017. Those cap numbers likely will go down in the new deal.

Patriots backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is signed through 2017. It will be interesting to see if the Patriots move their young reserve now that Brady is locked up for four more seasons.

Brady threw for 4,770 yards with 36 touchdowns and seven touchdowns while completing 64.4 percent of his passes in 2015. He led the Patriots to the AFC Championship Game, where they lost to the Denver Broncos.
