Police have scheduled a press conference Thursday morning to update a homicide case involving an Etobicoke father of two who was fatally shot inside his garage last month.
Alfredo (Freddy) Patriarca, 42, was killled after pulling his SUV into the garage of his Etobicoke home on Jan. 20 around 6:21 p.m.
Surveillance video from the scene shows the suspected assailant follow Patriarca inside and, eight seconds later, is seen fleeing in a southwesternly direction. The entire incident lasts barely 50 seconds.

Family members found Patriarca shot inside the garage, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
While the suspect's jacket appears to be light or a white colour, police say it could be a darker colour owing to video distortion.
