Patrick Beverley lived up to his reputation Tuesday night, and in the process, was one of the only Houston Rockets who could slow down Gordon Hayward, no matter how unorthodox his tactics might have been.

Hayward had himself a fine shooting night, as the Utah Jazz guard went 6-for-7 from the field, including 3 of 4 from behind the 3-point line. He also made a good living at the free-throw line, sinking 13 of 15 attempts from the charity stripe.

One of those missed free throws came in overtime when Hayward missed the first of two foul shots after Beverley said something to Hayward before walking right in front of him and pulling down his arm as the Jazz guard practiced his free-throw stroke.

Like we said, Hayward missed the first of the two free throws, but he hit the second. The basketball gods took care of business, though, as Utah edged Houston for a 117-114 overtime win.
