It happened at about 3:20 p.m. at the end of Steele Road in the upper Mission. The climber was stuck about 150 feet from the top of a rock face. Kelowna Fire Department members lowered a rescue climber to the victim and placed a harness around the stranded climber.  They were both lowered to the canyon floor and escorted out by RCMP.
